I have been working for more than 20 years as a remote sensing Earth scientist for ITC and (since 2010) the Faculty ITC of the University of Twente in the Netherlands. In my life as a student, lecturer, researcher, and assistant professor, I traveled to many parts of the world, including Costa Rica, Australia, and Tanzania. Everywhere, I enjoy the study of geological processes and their influence on rocks using infrared remote sensing techniques. For more information about me, please visit the sites below.
